Liverpool's young core defeats League One Shrewsbury Town to secure a huge spot into the next FA Cup round. 
While the team’s leaders and the coach also Jurgen Klopp had fun during their winter break, the youngsters impinged the Anfield with a lot of determination and maturity to take on the 16-seed Shrews on this decisive stage of The FA cup and ended up proving the fans one of the most confident displays we may ever see. The game was under the charge of Neil Critchley.





The Reds’19-year-old captain Curtis Jones was undoubtedly the Man of the Match with his incredible confidence facing a professional team, moving unsystematically around the pitch with an apparent strong personality flowing, making up entertaining skills and tricks to amuse the home fans.

A total dominance from Liverpool couldn’t convert any of the chances into goals. Shrews’ Whalley thought he had put Shrewbury ahead after heading into an empty net on a rebound which was, fortunately –somehow- ruled out by the VAR.
The young Liverpool squad surprised everyone and left Anfield with a memorable victory as Shrewsbury defender Ro-Shaun Williams inadvertently steered the ball with a header past his own net to give the hosts a valuable qualification.
