It's all a wrap in the Stamford Bridge as The Reds seal a surprising win over Frank Lampard's Chelsea. This 2-0 win will definitely fuel Manchester United's Champions League hopes and keeping them alive.

United are getting closer to the Blues as the gap is now narrowed to three points only. Chelsea are still at the fourth spot of the table after conceding two headers from Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial.

Anthony Martial didn't miss the occasion of scoring after he received a perfect and cheeky cross from Aaron Wan-Bissaka within only a few seconds after the break. Manchester United captain doubled the lead for the visitors after a well-done corner from the newly recruited Portuguese Bruno Fernandes at the 66th minute of the game.

In spite of examining a red-card situation with the VAR, Chelsea felt absolutely destroyed after that Harry Maguire ad escaped a clear expulsion after he had kicked Michy Batshuai in the groin during the first half of the game.

The VAR came at the rescue again for the Reds as it had denied Kurt Zuma's equalizer who would have made it 1-1. Basically, the goal was not legal because of a slight push from the Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta on United's Williams. However, many VAR angles showed that Fred was in massive contact with Chelsea's captain.

Things got worse for the hosts after denying again Oliver Giroud's 76th-minute header. The goal was actually ruled out because Oliver had a foot in an offside position while he was trying to finish Mason Mount's free-kick.

This important win helped this United squad to achieve the first league double over the Blues in over 32 years. However, Chelsea have already lost SEVEN home games in all competitions which has happened for the time in more than two and a half decades.

This shows that Chelsea lacks toughness and hustle on the defensive and offensive ends. The numbers show that the defense is getting much worse than the previous seasons and Hazard's departure has had a huge effect on the team's performance, waiting for Ziyech's arrival who is expected to fill the gap.
