Man City Banned from UCL For Two Seasons After Breaching the FFF rules.

Manchester
City have officially been banned by UEFA from European competitions including
the Champions League and Europa League for two seasons and have to pay a €30-million fine ( $33 million ) after breaking
the European financial fair play rules.
A huge
disappointment for the Premier League champions who immediately responded with
a statement saying they will revolt against this decision by heading to the
Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The reason
of this tough decision is that the club has been found guilty of injecting a huge amount of money into the club through its shareholders and sponsorships
contracts. Moreover, Man City failed to cooperate with the UEFA’s chambers
during this investigation.
However,
the club didn’t really seem ‘surprised’ by the UEFA’s announcement. Therefore,
they called the decision ‘flawed and leaked’.
The UEFA
Adjudicatory Chamber’s decision will certainly impact the procedure of
qualifying to European competitions as UCL spots in the EPL will now drop to 5th
while UEL places may drop to 8th, giving chances of the European
pleasure to many other teams.
This ban
will undoubtedly have a huge impact on the Spaniard Guardiola’s future whose
contract will expire in the summer of 2021 only.
His future
is at pure risk right now as he claimed in an interview with Sky Sports that he
could be sacked in case he loses against Real Madrid in this season’s Champions
league, especially after being 22 points behind the ultimate rivals Liverpool
who are going on the proper way for their first Premier League title EVER.
